Organic Chemistry is widely regarded as one of the most difficult undergraduate science courses because it requires a fundamentally different way of thinking — visualizing three-dimensional molecular structures, understanding reaction mechanisms, and predicting products based on electron movement rather than simple memorization. The cumulative nature of the material means that falling behind early makes every subsequent topic harder. However, when reaction mechanisms are taught visually with clear arrow-pushing diagrams and structured, step-by-step lessons, even the most complex organic transformations become much more approachable.
